Notifications, sound and email

The bell shows what needs your attention: an account that disconnected, replies that keep failing, a post that could not be published, or a plan about to end.

• Email: each person chooses which kinds of notifications also arrive by email, in the notifications panel.
• Sound and desktop notifications for new comments and messages are set per browser. Desktop notifications never show the message text.
