Connect WhatsApp (beta)
WhatsApp connects as a linked device, like WhatsApp Web. It is not the official WhatsApp Business API, so read the risks first:
- WhatsApp may restrict or block numbers it sees as automated. Use a dedicated business number, not your personal one.
- Only reply to people who message you first. Sospark does not send broadcasts.
Link the number
- Open Accounts, choose Connect account → WhatsApp, confirm you understand the risks and continue.
- On your phone, open WhatsApp and tap Linked devices → Link a device.
- Point the camera at the QR code in Sospark. The code refreshes by itself until you scan it.
- If WhatsApp asks for a passkey or a matching code, follow the steps shown in the dialog.
Then set up replies for incoming messages on the account's automation page.
If the number disconnects
Sospark tells you in Notifications and by email. Open Accounts and link the number again. If WhatsApp restricts the number, automation pauses; check the WhatsApp app on your phone for details.
